Orchardleigh Castle
The Castle’s two battlements have been transformed into separate properties that sleep up to 12 guests individually or 24 guests when both are hired together.
​
Built in 1485, Orchardleigh Castle was commissioned for a visit by The Duke of Gloucester.
​
A wonderfully charming escape for that special family or group get away. With grand interiors, beautiful gardens and large hot tubs, Orchardleigh Castle makes the perfect backdrop for a luxurious occasion.
​
Each battlement boasts a large traditional kitchen, grand sitting room, four bedrooms (eight in total) and large gardens complete with outdoor dining areas and hot tubs. A sofa bed each side will then accommodate 12 guests.
​
Whether you choose to relax in your own Castle or take a stroll through the grounds, Orchardleigh Castle offers a picturesque and secluded spot.

Boathouse
A tranquil and romantic retreat for two, nestled on the edge of a sparkling 35 acre lake at the heart of the estate.

The Boathouse offers a fully equipped kitchen, romantic living area complete with a glowing open fireplace, a state-of-the-art wet room, a sumptuous king sized bed and private terrace complete with hot tub and dining furniture – perfect for relaxing, watching the wildlife and absorbing the stunning surroundings.

Church Lodge
Rest and Relax in this unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled close to our very own Estate Church and at the end of our amazing 35 acre lake.

Church Lodge is small, but perfectly formed. It has recently been, fully refurbished to a high standard. The gorgeous living room has a triple aspect view across the countryside with open log fire and large TV. There is a super dining room just off the fully equipped kitchen. The double bedroom with original fireplace leads to the modern, fully tiled bathroom, with large walk in shower, toilet and sink. There is a lovely private garden and a hot tub that enhances this most secluded property.

ELMHAY VILLAGE
Located around a central courtyard, Elmhay Village comprises 12 beautifully restored cottages. Varying in size from our penthouse cottage (perfect for two) to our five bedroom farmhouse sleeping up to 14 guests, the cottages can be hired individually or together for larger groups of up 70 guests.
Garden House
Garden House is a large 5 bedroom family house, parts of which date back to the 16th Century. It’s situated in the heart of the Estate with its own private garden, complete with garden furniture and lots of parking to the side.

On the ground floor there’s a comfortable lounge with an open fire place, furnished with a 5-piece suite and double bed settee, TV, VCR and DVD, a large formal dining room and a fully fitted kitchen/breakfast room with electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. A washing machine and tumble dryer are situated in the utility room. From the lounge, a hallway leads to a downstairs twin bedroom with an adjacent bathroom.
Stairs from the hall lead to the first floor of the house: comprising of two family bathrooms, one double, one large family room with a kingsize bed and single bed and one family suite with a kingsize bed, one single and an en suite shower room with toilet, along with a further bedroom with two sets of bunk beds.

Garden Cottage
Garden Cottage is a large 4 bedroom family house, parts of which date back to the 16th Century. It’s situated in the heart of the Estate on the edge of Elmhay Village with its own walled garden with garden furniture and parking to the front.

Garden Cottage offers comfortable family accommodation, with a spacious and comfortable lounge, a large separate dining room and a fully equipped kitchen breakfast room.
Sleeping up to seven guests, Garden Cottage comprises two double bedrooms – one of which has an en suite bathroom, one twin room, one small single room and a large family bathroom.

The Bell Tower
The Bell Tower is the Penthouse of Elmhay Village.

Downstairs is a large living area with cosy lounge furniture and dining table and chairs. The living area also incorporates a fully fitted Kitchen.

Upstairs is a huge bedroom with a luxurious four-poster bed and built in his and hers dressing tables. The en-suite bathroom is complete with a large walk-in shower, a large oval shaped Jacuzzi bath, his and hers wash basins, a bidet and WC.

The Clock Tower
The Clock Tower is a three-story, three bedroom house.
Downstairs is an entrance hall leading to a large living area with lounge furniture, dining table and chairs the living area also incorporates a fitted Kitchen.

On the first floor there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom both with en-suite Bath with hand held shower spray and WC. There is also a family bathroom on this floor that comprises a large walk-in shower, separate bath, washbasin and WC.

There is a further Family bedroom on the second floor, located in the tower itself, which can sleep up to three guests on a double and single bed.

The Coach House
The Coach House is a two-story lodge. Downstairs is a large living area with lounge furniture, dining table and chairs the living area also incorporates a fitted Kitchen. There is also a sofa bed downstairs which can sleep up to two guests.

This property was named after the Agatha Christie film: The 4.50 from Paddington. As this was the main location where Agatha Christie solved the Murder!

Bull Pen & Woodcutters
The Bull Pen and Woodcutters are smaller single story lodges with ground floor bedrooms that are annexes of The Dairy & The Coach House respectively. The Bull Pen has wheelchair ramp.

They each benefit from a fitted kitchen, a double bedroom & a twin bedroom and shared shower room with washbasin and WC.
​
